JST FAB Connector is a high performance sealed wire to wire automotive connector. This connector combines an intuitive Anti Vibration and CPA (Connector Position Assurance) spring design with excellent operational characteristics.
Principally designed for Front Impact seat belt automotive retractor systems, this connector meets all complex environment endurance test requirements associated with such applications.
The FAB Connector is a 2 circuit sealed connector, with a current rating of 5Amps, 14V DC Voltage and operating temperature range of -40OC to +120OC.

Anti-Vibration Mechanism
- Multiple mechanisms have been designed and incorporated to provide superior performance in high vibration environments.
Secondary retainer – Terminal position assurance (TPA)
- The Secondary Retainer or TPA feature ensures that the crimped contact has been inserted fully into the housing. It's a feature that aids the production/assembly process where it is not always easy to check that the crimped contact has been inserted correctly into the housing.
Secure locking device - Connector Position Assurance (CPA)
- The housing has a locking feature that prevents accidental disconnection due to restricted wire routing or high environmental vibration.
Waterproof performance
- Incorporating a JST dual seal format design.
Robust contact design
- The 0.64 (025) crimp terminal box design incorporates a 4 point construction which offers a high degree of interface performance under conditions of vibration, distortion, low voltage or low current.
